Serendipity brought James C. Gavin to acting after a long career as a criminal investigator, prosecutor, and trial lawyer. He has taught English in a Ugandan orphanage, searched for and found his extended family in the mountains of Ukraine, and served as a pastoral care worker in a Philadelphia hospital.  James and his wife Sandy met in jail (true story), and have three lovely daughters and seven amazing grandchildren. He is a graduate of New York's William Esper Studio.
